Students will be required to earn a minimum of a C- in all courses taken in advancement of the micro-credential.
Learning Outcomes/Competencies
Upon completion of this micro-credential, learners will be able to:
- Understand and interpret foundational concepts of geography with an emphasis on Southern Oregon.
- Recognize how earth systems, biological systems, and social systems interact to define community capitals.
- Develop planning documents for use in municipal and regional decision making.
- Interpret legal documents, policies, and zoning as a means to community development, land protection, and resource management.
