As one of the most important resources in Healthcare Personnel Management is critical to an organization’s success and the care of their patients. Personnel management is the administration of personnel needs in the relationship between employer and employee. This field provides organizational structure for the employee including staffing, compensation and benefits, and defining the different positions within the organization. This can also include dealing with personnel challenges such as promotion and retention, providing employee assistance, and employee discipline and grievances. This is a paramount piece of healthcare; maintaining an efficient and satisfied workforce is critical to the success of any healthcare organization.

This program is for students wanting to enter the dynamic healthcare field. Students that have a passion for helping organizations achieve their best in providing healthcare to people. This degree sets up those that would like to pursue a graduate degree in healthcare administration and advancing their knowledge of the field.
Degree Roadmap
The curriculum is arranged to broaden a student’s understanding of healthcare from the perspective of a manager, patient, and practitioner. Students will explore how this industry is constantly changing and will introduce the challenges of working with various stakeholders in a healthcare system.
Capstone
Students will be required to do a capstone project and practicum experiences with working healthcare administration professionals in all areas of health care. This experience gives students the chance to apply theory learned in the classroom in the work environment and the opportunity to explore career interests in the field.
